About The Position
As a Truck Salesperson you will be directly responsible for selling new and used medium and heavy-duty trucks in accordance with established profit and customer satisfaction objectives.
Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts
- Professional appearance and dress
- Working knowledge of all makes of trucks
- At least one year of experience in truck sales position
- Willingness to submit to a background check
- Willingness to submit to a post-offer drug screen
Responsibilities
- Selling new and used medium and heavy-duty trucks
- Moving throughout the lot to demonstrate trucks to customers
- Climbing into trucks for appraisals and test drives
- Leaving the dealership several times a week to buy trucks
- Meeting with customers and calling on prospects
