About The Position

Allegiance Trucks is seeking motivated individuals with a passion for sales and a desire to excel in the dynamic world of truck sales to join their team as a Truck Sales Representative. This role offers a competitive total compensation package of $100k+, comprised of a base salary and commission, with opportunities for growth and professional development. The representative will have the chance to work with diverse product lines, build customer relationships, and contribute to the company's success in the trucking community.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong written/ verbal communication skills required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work and learn independently.
  • Knowledge of truck specifications.
  • Familiarity with accounting and other computer software as needed for dealership operations.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience (Trucking/Transportation industry).

Nice To Haves

  • While a CDL is not initially required, Allegiance Trucks is willing to assist the right candidate in acquiring one.
  • Prior sales experience is preferred, but we welcome individuals with a strong drive to succeed and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while nurturing existing relationships.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge to clients.
  • Directly responsible for all sales within the assigned territory, including but not limited to assigned regional, house accounts and local chains.
  • Write customer orders and sales contracts according to company guidelines.
  • Listen to and resolve customers’ complaints regarding products or services.
  • Call on prospective customers to explain company services or to solicit new business.
  • Achieves sales profit standards.
  • Proposes customer terms based on customer profitability and credit worthiness.
  • Maintains sales standards by account.
  • Coordinates sales with the other departments to work toward a common goal.
  • Adheres to sales policies and procedures.
  • Maintains liaison relationship between Allegiance Trucks & Trailers and its customers.
  • Market development within assigned territory
  • Customer merchandising and program implementation
  • Customer pricing/profitability within corporate guidelines
  • Customer terms within approved guidelines
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
  • CRM Module must be kept up to date, sales activities recorded and fully utilized.
