Requirements

  • Must have good mechanical aptitude.
  • Minnesota commercial Driver’s license or the ability to obtain one, within 1 year of employment. (Company sponsored)
  • DOT Medical Card.
  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Must have good mechanical knowledge.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Experience/understanding of safe shop practices.
  • Maintain good customer relationships, both internal and external.
  • Maintain a positive attitude with all employees.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the steps for the process of restoring, repairing, and upgrading used or worn-out equipment to a condition that resembles its original state.
  • Frequent use of welders and cutting tools.
  • Safe use of air tools to remove built up concrete.
  • Disassemble and reassembly of sheet metal components on ready-mix trucks
  • Properly assemble and install hydraulic hoses.
  • Removal and installation of wiring harnesses.
  • Ability to charge out inventory related parts and supplies.
  • Frequently work independently or in a team environment.
  • Installation of hydraulic pumps and cylinders.
  • Communicate with all managers on a regular basis as to needs, status and issues.
  • Practice good housekeeping, health, and safety standards per OSHA regulations.
  • Drive a variety of equipment and transporting equipment as needed.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with company employees, suppliers, and customers.
  • Promote and maintain the professional image and reputation of the company and ensure timely problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
