About The Position

Mounting technicians integrate mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, and pneumatic systems of Curbtender’s refuse truck bodies onto a truck chassis.

Requirements

• Able to read, write, communicate and understand English.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings, blueprints and schematics.
• Demonstrate good organizational and time management skills to ensure completion in the most efficient manner.
• Able to work with interruptions during a work shift.
• Possess required equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Integrate mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, and pneumatic systems of refuse truck bodies onto a truck chassis.
• Communicate effectively with the engineering department.
• Work with minimal supervision and instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Alert the maintenance department to potential mechanical problems.
• Work in teams and assist other departments as needed.
• Provide suggestions to management on quality and safety improvements regarding the work environment and the product.
