About The Position

2nd shift Monday- Friday (3:30pm-midnight)
$2 per hour shift differential

Are you an Experienced Truck Mechanic / Diesel Technician looking for a new opportunity with an established company? We have an immediate opening at our Fort Wayne branch. Our team is currently looking for a Truck Mechanic / Diesel Technician with engine repair experience to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service.

Requirements

• Experienced Truck Mechanic with Engine repair experience Required
• Computer skills and good verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work independently and assist others as needed
• The associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
• The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
• Must be able to obtain DOT medcard
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) a plus

Responsibilities

• Service and repair work, drive train, engine, steering, electrical, suspension and brakes
• Troubleshooting, Inspections, & Diagnostics
• Preventative Maintenance
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions
• Must be able to read and write reports.
