About The Position

Up to $32 per hour, depending on experience. This is a 2nd shift position, Monday-Friday (3:30pm-midnight) with a $2 per hour shift differential. We have an immediate opening at our Fort Wayne branch for an experienced Truck Mechanic / Diesel Technician with engine repair experience to maintain our commitment to safety and customer service.

Requirements

Experienced Truck Mechanic with Engine repair experience Required
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years.
No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI).
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
Must be able to obtain DOT medcard

Nice To Haves

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) a plus

Responsibilities

Service and repair work, drive train, engine, steering, electrical, suspension and brakes
Troubleshooting, Inspections, & Diagnostics
Preventative Maintenance
Computer skills and good verbal communication skills
Must be able to work independently and assist others as needed
Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions
The associate must be able to read and write reports.
