About The Position

SMART Tech (Skilled, Mentored, And Real-World Trained) Truck Mechanic - Diesel Technician - Entry Level. Clarke Vehicare is currently looking for a S.M.A.R.T Technician to maintain our commitment to safety and customer service. This role involves using smartphone, laptop, and tablet technology to record all repairs. Requirements

• Must currently be enrolled in a Diesel Repair Program or have previous exposure to and strong interest in truck mechanics.
• Desire and Ability to learn
• Strong Work Ethic
• Must be able to Work Independently
• Standard Tech Owned Tools Required
• Must be current student at college or technical school
• Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card

• Auto and Preventative Maintenance Techs encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Use of smartphone, laptop and tablet technology to record all repairs.
• Work in shop with experienced mentor mechanics.
• Gain a wide range of real-world experience related to diesel truck repair.
• Perform Light & Medium Duty Truck Repair.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
