About The Position

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Truck Loader/Driver Helper for their 1st shift operations. This role involves loading trucks and stocking delivery routes within the warehouse. Occasionally, employees will assist drivers with local deliveries. The company is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products for residential and low-rise non-residential buildings in North America, with a strong commitment to corporate stewardship and ESG responsibility.

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse environment
Sufficient literacy to read and understand window labels, pick lists, and other work materials in English
Ability to use handheld scanning unit
Compute basic math problems to include fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Mechanical aptitude and ability to read a tape measure
Ability to work in and promote a team environment
Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to discern colors
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
Hand dexterity and strength
Must be at least 18 years of age to apply

Nice To Haves

Glass handling and/or glass knowledge preferred
Forklift certification is a plus

Responsibilities

Adhere to safety procedures as outlined in the Illness & Injury Prevention Program and the Employee Handbook
Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures
Ensure loads are complete per documentation
Secure loads in a proper fashion to minimize damage and breakage
Work in a team environment
Ensure Warehouse is stocked according to SOP's and safety guidelines
Assist drivers with the unloading of product at customer jobsites, docks, and new-build single-family households
