Requirements

Proficiency in operating tractors and trailers safely.
Experience performing DOT pre-trip inspections.
Understanding of temperature control systems.
Ability to monitor and manage fluid levels.
Basic equipment maintenance skills.
Attention to detail to uphold sanitation and safety standards.
Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for addressing equipment issues.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with company safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Adeptly operating trucks and securely hitching and unhitching trailers with precision on our property.
Managing key equipment within the tractor and trailer.
Monitoring vital systems.
Performing DOT pre-trip inspections to guarantee everything meets regulatory standards.
Checking fluid levels and maintaining detailed logs.
Routinely sweeping and sanitizing trailers to uphold cleanliness and food safety.
Reporting any equipment issues to the transportation supervisor and on-site technicians.
Fostering effective relationships within the department and community.
