About The Position
Kiewit is currently seeking Class 1 Truck Drivers for the Westlock Maintenance Yard based out of Edmonton, Alberta. This position requires hauling loads to British Columbia and Saskatchewan. Candidates must be willing to travel to these provinces. A SureHire Drug, Alcohol, & 50lb Fitness-to-work test must be passed upon offer.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence with Air Brakes.
- Minimum three years' experience securing loads.
- Must be willing to haul loads to British Columbia and Saskatchewan.
- A clean five-year driver's abstract is required.
- Must be available to work on weekends as required.
- Must be able to pass a SureHire Drug, Alcohol, & 50lb Fitness-to-work test.
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating lowbed and highboy trailers is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 trucks.
- Haul loads to British Columbia and Saskatchewan.
- Secure loads.
Benefits
- Wage: $34.50 - $38.55 per hour.
- Overtime: time and a half after 8 hours worked per day.
- LOA: $150 per day is provided when travelling to British Columbia or Saskatchewan.
