About The Position

Kemira is seeking an experienced local truck driver to support its Manufacturing Coagulants, Industry & Water segment in East Chicago, Illinois. The segment helps customers improve water-treatment efficiency through value-adding support and high-performing chemicals. The role delivers bulk liquid commodities to customers and involves loading and unloading tankers, completing delivery paperwork, and safely transporting and handling hazardous materials in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Commercial driver's license with tanker and hazardous materials endorsements.
• Clean driving record with 2.0 points or less.
• Basic math skills.
• Thorough knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
• Customer service orientation.

Nice To Haves

• At least 3 years of experience transporting bulk chemicals in a cargo tank.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bulk liquid commodities to customers.
