About The Position

Penske Logistics is hiring full-time, home-daily Class B delivery truck drivers for a dedicated route delivering parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. Drivers perform multi-stop deliveries, unload trailers with manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, and scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.

Drivers operate late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with inward- and outward-facing in-cab cameras. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, averaging 50 hours per week, with dispatch times ranging from 12:00 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. Drivers are home daily. The position offers average annual earnings of $74,992, performance incentives of up to $10,400 annually, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

The role requires safe, attentive driving and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company requirements. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. Applicants must complete an employment application and submit to background investigation and drug screening.

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL.
• Airbrake endorsement.
• Currently hold, or be able to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• At least 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience within the last 5 years.
• A 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in the state of residence.
• English language proficiency as required under 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2).
• Regular, predictable, full attendance.
• Ability to complete the Penske employment application and submit to background investigation, including past employment, education, and criminal history, and drug screening.
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter and exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
• Ability to see and hear, including close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to move frequently and to stand, walk, sit, handle objects, and reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships.
• Unload trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages.
• Use a scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.
• Operate a truck safely and comply with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Maintain a constant state of alertness and take responsibility for personal and others’ safety.
• Work the required schedule and at the required location.
