About The Position
This role involves delivering products safely and professionally within designated timeframes. The Truck Driver will be responsible for maintaining accurate delivery records, completing all necessary DOT paperwork, and fostering positive customer relationships. The position also requires keeping vehicles clean, communicating any vehicle issues to mechanics, and performing DOT-required vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with all regulations.
Requirements
- Commercial Drivers License - routes available for both Class A and Class B
- Requires DOT Medical Certification.
- Must be willing to work variable hours and days including overtime.
- Requires ability to lift 60 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 150 lbs.
- Requires ability to control a two wheeler down a ramp on a trailer.
- A lift assessment, DOT physical, and drug screen are required of all truck drivers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver product in a safe and professional manner within a timeframe designated by customer demands.
- Establish paper trail for each delivery and complete all appropriate D.O.T. and related paperwork.
- Maintain a friendly relationship with customers without spending an inappropriate amount of time.
- Keep vehicles clean.
- Communicate with our mechanics on any problems experienced with vehicles.
- Physically complete all DOT required vehicle inspections and paperwork in order to stay in compliance with all DOT regulations.
