About The Position

F&G Mechanical Corp. is seeking a dependable and motivated Boom Truck Driver to join our team in Secaucus, New Jersey. This full-time position is responsible for safely delivering tools, equipment, and materials to construction sites. Warehouse experience is a plus.

Requirements

Must be 21 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED
Must have and maintain a valid CDL A license with a good driving record
Candidate must possess proficient manual transmission operation skills
Minimum 4+ years of verified experience operating a boom truck. Candidates without direct boom truck experience will not be considered.
Experience Pulling Trailers and Driving Lift Gate Trucks.
Have an excellent attitude towards safety and firm adherence to safety protocols, Company operating policies, procedures, OSHA, and safety programs as established.
Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and continued compliance with all U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) mandated random drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Warehouse Delivery or similar experience preferred

Responsibilities

Safely operates delivery vehicle while driving to assigned locations
Delivers equipment, tools, materials, parts and supplies to construction job sites
Assists with loading and unloading trucks for deliveries
General warehouse duties, including tool and material inventory
Operates a truck with a hydraulic crane (boom) to lift, move, and place heavy materials at job sites
Requiring a CDL, boom operation skills, and knowledge of safety protocols to safely transport and maneuver loads like steel, pipe, or equipment, coordinating with ground crews and performing pre-trip inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations like OSHA.
Comply with all Company operating policies, procedures, OSHA, and safety programs as established.
