About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves operating dump trailers to transport materials to and from construction sites, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, following designated routes, communicating with dispatchers and site supervisors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • CDL class A or B driver's license required.
  • Proficient in operating tri axle trucks and other heavy equipment.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
  • Excellent driving and navigation skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

  • Operate dump trailers to transport materials to and from construction sites.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.
  • Follow designated routes and adhere to delivery schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
