About The Position

Health Systems Cooperative Laundries is seeking a Truck Driver to be responsible for loading and unloading their own truck, operating vehicles, and delivering clean linens to clinics. The role involves maintaining delivery schedules, completing assigned deliveries on time, and handling soiled linen carts. This position operates in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled, union environment with a diverse workforce. The operation runs seven days a week, requiring weekend availability, and nights may also be required.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Proficient ability to speak and understand English.
• Attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload your own truck.
• Load and secure clean linen carts in the delivery trucks.
• Operate vehicles and deliver clean linens to clinics.
• Maintain the delivery schedule and complete assigned deliveries on time.
• Load and secure soiled linen carts, maintaining functional separation from clean linens if necessary.
• Off-load soiled linens and weigh carts at the soil area scale.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
