About The Position

The Truck Driver is responsible for loading and unloading clean linen carts into delivery trucks, operating vehicles to deliver clean linens to clinics, and maintaining the delivery schedule. This role also involves loading and securing soiled linen carts, off-loading soiled linens, weighing carts, and accurately recording linen data for restocking and usage tracking. The position operates in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled production environment within a unionized setting with a diverse workforce. The operation runs seven days a week, requiring weekend availability and potentially night shifts.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Proficient ability to speak and understand English.
• Attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload clean linen carts into delivery trucks.
• Secure clean linen carts in delivery trucks.
• Operate vehicles to deliver clean linens to clinics.
• Maintain the delivery schedule and complete assigned deliveries in a timely manner.
• Load and secure soiled linen carts.
• Maintain functional separation between clean and soiled linens if necessary.
• Off-load soiled linens.
• Weigh carts at the soil area scale.
• Accurately record linen data for proper restocking quantities and usage data.
