About The Position

BASIC FUNCTION: To operate a manual transmission truck for Goodwill, making pickups of donated material and scheduled deliveries and pick-ups of merchandise.

Requirements

• Must have a CDL-A license.
• Must have a good past driving record so that insurance company will accept insurability.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical, drug screen and background check.
• Must be physically able to safely and properly handle heavy items such as desks, sofas, etc.
• Must be licensed to operate a manual transmission.
• CDL License required, ability to drive a manual transmission truck.
• Must be able to read and write.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the Greater Grand Rapids area is desirable.
• High school education preferred.
• Previous experience pulling a semi-trailer up to 53 feet in length preferred.
