About The Position

This role involves delivering and unloading products to various customers within our territory, potentially including up to two overnights per week. The Truck Driver will also serve as a fill-in as needed.

Requirements

Strong team player with strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
Proven customer service skills
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Ability to interact with others in a professional manner
Valid class A CDL
Full compliance of DOT standards
Ability to always operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner
3 or more years of truck driving experience in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

Operate semi tractor-trailers to deliver merchandise to our customers
Unload product at customer destinations
Perform required before, during, and after-operation “user maintenance” and complete required reports
Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs
Light facility maintenance (change out light bulbs, change furnace filters, snow removal and lawn care)
Remove snow from sidewalks using snow blowers, snow shovels, and snow melting chemicals
Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you
Partners with our Safety Department and Operations Leadership to promote and ensure a safe work environment and ensure all safety precautions are met.
