Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of materials to the customer base and the backhauling of materials to the facility. Requirements

  • Maintain Class A license and passage of DOT physicals
  • Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Rare ability for non-CDL driving

Responsibilities

  • Drivers operate tractors with trailers on public streets and highways.
  • Opening and closing facility gates, reading and following shipping documents
  • Maintaining accurate logs and following instructions from the Dispatcher.
  • Drivers may or may not participate in the loading of materials but are responsible for securing the load using approved devices and methods.
  • Perform Pre and Post Trip Inspections of delivery equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers during delivery and pickup operations
  • Identify and report safety, discrepancy and efficiency concerns
  • Follow detailed shipping documents and bills of lading and report any deviations to supervisor
  • All other duties assigned.
