About The Position

Health Systems Cooperative Laundries is seeking a Truck Driver to manage the loading and unloading of trucks, delivery of clean linens to clinics, and the collection of soiled linens. This role requires adherence to delivery schedules and maintaining functional separation of clean and soiled linens. The position operates in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled, union environment with a diverse workforce.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Proficient ability to speak and understand English.
• Attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload your own truck.
• Load and secure clean linen carts in delivery trucks.
• Operate vehicles and deliver clean linens to clinics.
• Maintain the delivery schedule and complete assigned deliveries on time.
• Load and secure soiled linen carts, maintaining functional separation from clean linens if necessary.
• Off-load soiled linens and weigh carts at the soil area scale.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
