About The Position

This is an hourly position requiring previous commercial driving experience that will be responsible for overseeing the transportation of products to casino resort properties and maintaining the vehicle fleet utilized for Caesars Entertainment’s Regional Laundry Facility. This role has responsibility for operating commercial equipment with little direct oversight while maintaining high positivity in a fast-paced work environment.

Requirements

Previous commercial driving experience.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Willingness to work a temporary position.
Able to obtain a Class A (CDL) driver license with a “T” endorsement.
Must be adept to higher temperatures during summer months.
Prolonged periods of sitting, mostly within the cab of a vehicle.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and push wheeled carts up to 900 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Multi-lingual (English and Spanish preferred).
Basic functional understanding of vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

Driving semi-trucks with 1-2 attached trailers for deliveries within Las Vegas and Laughlin areas.
Loading/unloading deliveries of laundry bins.
Observing and practicing all safety requirements of the Department of Transportation and all other applicable regulating agencies.
Using small hand tools to perform various small repairs to trailers used for transport.
Performing daily inspections of vehicles and trailers, immediately reporting any items of concern.
Meeting fast-paced productivity goals established at the laundry facility.
Navigating heavily congested traffic and finding the quickest routes to each destination.
Working safely around high-volume commercial laundry equipment and reporting any equipment malfunctions immediately to supervisory team members.
Working with several hundred employees throughout the day and displaying a positive attitude towards coworkers and communicating openly with facility leadership.
Working in property back-of-house locations.
