About The Position

Safely transport hazardous waste materials to and from designated facilities in accordance with DOT, EPA, and company requirements. This role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels. Requirements

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the ability to safely operate commercial vehicles
  • Knowledge of transportation safety requirements and hazardous material handling procedures
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport hazardous waste materials to and from designated facilities in accordance with DOT, EPA, and company requirements
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles and equipment are safe and compliant
  • Complete shipping manifests, transportation logs, and regulatory documentation accurately and on time
  • Load, secure, and unload materials while following all safety and environmental procedures
  • Partner with plant, environmental, and operations teams to support efficient and compliant waste management activities
