About The Position

This is a part-time Truck Driver position. The primary responsibilities include adhering to safety regulations, safely picking up and delivering parts and non-production material, ensuring proper loading and unloading, accurately completing all related documentation, maintaining a log of daily trips and inspection reports, and ensuring vehicle maintenance is performed as needed. The driver will also perform other tasks as assigned by the Shipping Supervisor.

Requirements

• CDL Class A or B license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to safely operate a box truck or semi tractor
• Ability to safely operate a forklift
• High school education
• Two or more years experience driving a commercial truck with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Forklift license

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations as required by law and as specified by the company.
• Efficiently and safely pick up and deliver parts and or non production material.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of parts/material.
• Ensure all documents related to inbound and outbound parts movement are properly completed and accurate when submitted.
• Complete Inspection Report on daily basis and maintain log of daily trips.
• Ensure that vehicle maintenance is performed per suggested maintenance schedule or as need arises.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Shipping Supervisor.
