High school diploma, GED or two (2) years equivalent work experience
Must have Class A Commercial Drivers’ License (CDL) and possess the ability to safely operate transportation equipment (i.e., tractor/trailer combinations).
Two (2) years truck driving experience required.
Must have working knowledge of DOT regulations and meet BC driver qualifications.
Performs duties in all weather conditions.

Previous flatbed truck driving experience preferred.
Forklift experience is a plus.
Experience with mountain driving preferred.
Experience securing loads with straps and other cargo securement equipment.
Previous experience delivering building materials or other heavy cargo is a plus.

Deliver and distribute building products to assigned customers safely, accurately and on schedule.
Safely load, secure, handle, transport and unload building materials and heavy cargo.
Inspect and maintain cargo securement throughout transportation to ensure materials are transported safely.
Maintain logs and records according DOT regulations.
Assist associates in loading and unloading trucks or building loads as needed.
Operate vehicles in compliance with company safety policies and applicable DOT regulations.
Maintain a clean, organized and well maintained truck.
Maintain good housekeeping in the work area, including loading and unloading areas.
Perform routine inspections and promptly report vehicle, equipment or safety concerns.
Provide professional and courteous service to customers during deliveries.
Perform duties safely in all weather conditions and adapt to changing road and job-site conditions.
Follow all applicable company policies, procedures and safety standards.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
