About The Position

At Pattison Agriculture, we are seeking a Temporary Semi-Truck Driver to join our fast-paced, energetic company at our Swift Current, SK location. This Full-Time Temp position is to fill a need for the next 2-3 months, with potential for permanent employment after the term for the right candidate and based on business needs. Our Truck Drivers provide exceptional customer service through the transportation of equipment for the dealership (within Canada and the USA). Requirements

• 5+ years of experience hauling equipment, and truck/trailer repair/maintenance
• Knowledgeable of overweight/over dimensional hauls and use of RGN trailers
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and internet functions
• Clean drivers abstract in the last 3 years
• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Valid 1A Drivers License, and ability to drive within Canada and USA
• Must be able to work extended shifts away from home location 2 to 3 days as required

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Electronic Logbook Device, and operation of ag equipment would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Transport over-weight and over-dimensional equipment loads to/from customers and/or between dealerships
• Support Sales Department with equipment deliveries as needed
• Maintain accurate records and up to date certifications and permits
• Meet operating standards, required inspections, and codes for commercial vehicle transport
• Keep assigned truck and related equipment in good condition and monitor performance and mechanical fitness of vehicle
• Provide basic operating directions to customers as needed
• Ensure self and others follow all safety regulations and requirements
• Build and maintain positive co-worker relations
