A Fuel Truck Driver will support and execute the safe, quality, and efficient completion of various tasks related to industrial truck operations being performed at a petrochemical processing plant. This includes preparation, inspection, operation, loading, unloading, repair, and cleaning of industrial trucks such as Semi, Flatbed, Load Lugger, and Roll-Off trucks and/or related equipment, tools, parts, components, etc., to transport raw, hazardous, and/or waste materials, finished products (high and low flash), etc., throughout the facility safely and efficiently. The role also involves providing support services such as firewatch, holewatch, bottlewatch, light equipment/vehicle operation, and general housekeeping. The position requires the ability to work under the direction of a skilled Leadman and the supervision of an experienced Foreman, and to complete all required training for safety-sensitive work including hot work, confined space entry, and fresh air work. The driver will be expected to assist other crafts when not actively performing truck driving activities and must be capable of reading, understanding, and adhering to various work permits, SDSs, and JSAs. Successful completion of a Short Service Employee (SSE) program, if applicable, and a 90-day probationary period is required, along with maintaining satisfactory bi-annual evaluation scores.
