About The Position

Deliver and unload products to various customers in our territory and possibly be up to two overnights per week. Serve as a fill in as needed.

Requirements

• Strong team player with strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
• Proven customer service skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to interact with others in a professional manner
• Valid class A CDL
• Full compliance of DOT standards
• Ability to always operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner
• 3 or more years of truck driving experience in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Operate semi tractor-trailers to deliver merchandise to our customers
• Unload product at customer destinations
• In town deliveries, short delivers and relief driver
• Perform required before, during, and after-operation “user maintenance” and complete required reports
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs
• Light facility maintenance (change out light bulbs, change furnace filters, snow removal and lawn care)
• Remove snow from sidewalks using snow blowers, snow shovels, and snow melting chemicals
• Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you
• Partners with our Safety Department and Operations Leadership to promote and ensure a safe work environment and ensure all safety precautions are met.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
