About The Position

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable, safety-minded CDL Driver to deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Drivers operate local routes and are typically home each night. The role includes providing professional customer service, operating propane trucks and equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards, conducting daily vehicle inspections, maintaining delivery logs, and assisting customers with delivery, account, and propane-safety questions. Drivers participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries. This is a seasonal position. Starting pay is $30.00 per hour, depending on experience, with additional hourly pay for seasonal and part-time drivers. Seasonal drivers may receive a $1,000 end-of-season bonus and a $1,000 return-to-work bonus, subject to hours worked and eligibility to return in a later season.

Requirements

• Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements, or ability to obtain them quickly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
• Must not now or in the future require sponsorship for an employment visa.

Nice To Haves

• Previous truck driving experience is preferred.
