About The Position

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Truck Driver - 3rd Shift at our Troy, IL facility! The core hours are Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $24.87 per hour, plus a $.50 cent shift premium. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Requirements

A current CDL - Class A
Successfully pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening.
Participate and comply with DOT-regulated random drug testing requirements.

Nice To Haves

Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Responsibilities

The Truck Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of materials to and from suppliers, vendors, and local customers.
Primary duties include picking up steel coils, completing local deliveries within the Troy and Highland areas, and managing additional pickup or delivery tasks as assigned.
This position operates Truck Unit 20 and utilizes trailers, tarps, and straps to properly secure all loads.
Maintaining accurate delivery documentation, performing routine vehicle inspections, and adhering to all safety and compliance requirements.
