About The Position

The Office of Business, Hospitality and Auxiliary Services is seeking a Temporary Truck Driver for our Logistics team. The position requires driving on and off-campus. Incumbent must be familiar with the greater Pittsburgh area and surroundings. Courtesy and professionalism at all times is a must. Special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License.
• Two years of truck driving experience with a truck of at least 18 ft. in length.
• Must pass a mandatory DOT drug and alcohol screening.
• Must have a satisfactory report from the DMV.

Nice To Haves

• "Class B" Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with air brakes and Hazmat endorsement ("H") is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and delivery of mail, packages, goods on the Oakland campus as well as Branch Campuses and other off-campus areas owned/or operated by the University of Pittsburgh.
• Ability to prioritize work.
• Driving up to six hours a day.
