About The Position
In this position you will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer truck and the changing of donation trailers to and from the Main Plant facility or other locations as directed by supervisory staff.
Requirements
- High school graduate/GED, certification of tractor-trailer truck driving school.
- Must possess Class A commercial driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of two years’ experience driving tractor-trailer trucks preferred but not required.
- Forklift experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections as per DOT guidelines.
- Perform store deliveries and transport salvage materials back to Main Plant facility.
- Load and unload trailers using pallet jack, hand truck, forklift, or by hand.
- Must comply with all local, state, and federal transportation guidelines.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and complies with all policies and procedures.
- Follow scheduling to best meet the company’s need as determined by supervisory staff.
