About The Position

Mutual Materials is seeking a reliable, safety-focused Truck Driver to join our Spokane team. In this role, you will transport and deliver masonry, hardscape, and landscaping materials—including concrete pavers, retaining wall block, brick, stone, and related products—to customers throughout the Spokane region and along the I-90 corridor. Operating a truck and trailer equipped with a Moffett forklift, you will be responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading products at customer job sites, distribution yards, and retail locations. This position requires strong attention to safety, efficiency, and customer service, as many deliveries involve navigating active construction sites and coordinating directly with contractors, builders, and homeowners. This is a local driving position based in Spokane, allowing drivers to return home daily. The role offers the opportunity to work independently while playing a critical part in supporting construction projects throughout Eastern Washington and the Inland Northwest. This is a non-union position.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving tandem axle and/or flatbed trucks.
  • A current class "A" CDL license and will satisfactorily complete all Federal DOT requirements.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work independently, but also as part of a face-paced distribution team.
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service experience is a plus.
  • Prior knowledge of Mutual Materials products.
  • Ability to operate a Forklift.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operating a truck, trailer, and Moffett forklift to deliver products to customer locations.
  • Loading, securing, transporting, and unloading masonry and hardscape materials while following all DOT and company safety regulations.
  • Verifying product quantities and ensuring delivery accuracy.
  • Completing delivery paperwork, inspection reports, and electronic documentation.
  • Performing daily vehicle and equipment inspections and reporting maintenance concerns.
  • Providing professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
