About The Position

Health Systems Cooperative Laundries is seeking a Truck Driver to manage the loading and unloading of clean and soiled linen carts, operate delivery trucks, and deliver clean linens to clinics. The role involves maintaining delivery schedules, accurately recording linen data, and ensuring functional separation of clean and soiled linens. This position operates in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled, unionized environment with a diverse workforce.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Maintain an acceptable driving record
• Proficient ability to speak and understand English
• Attendance is an essential function of the job

Responsibilities

• Load and unload clean linen carts into delivery trucks.
• Secure clean linen carts during transport.
• Operate vehicles to deliver clean linens to clinics.
• Maintain the delivery schedule and complete assigned deliveries in a timely manner.
• Load and secure soiled linen carts.
• Maintain functional separation of clean and soiled linens if necessary.
• Off-load soiled linens and weigh carts at the soil area scale.
• Accurately record linen data for restocking and usage tracking.
