About The Position

DP World is looking for a dynamic individual who is ready to take on the exciting and rewarding challenge to be a Truck Driver at our automotive sequencing warehouse, in Oakville, Ontario. This role involves moving trailers and other equipment on and off the dock, directing traffic in the yard, keeping track of loads and backhauls, performing equipment and load checks while following safety guidelines, and assisting management to ensure the dock flows smoothly. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

HS diploma required.
Experience leading a team.
Experience with driving a tractor trailer.
Must have CDL A license with a clean driving record.
Speak read and understand English.

Responsibilities

Move trailers and other equipment on and off the dock.
Direct traffic in the yard (including company and non-company drivers).
Keep track of loads and backhauls in the yard.
Yard equipment and load checks along with following appropriate safety guidelines.
Assist management as required to keep the dock flowing.
Other duties as assigned.
