About The Position

Ferrellgas is hiring a dependable, safety-minded seasonal CDL driver to deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers, including homes, farms, and businesses. Drivers operate propane trucks and equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards, provide professional customer service, perform daily vehicle inspections, and maintain accurate delivery logs. The role includes helping customers with delivery, account, and propane-safety questions and participating in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries. Routes are local, and drivers are home every night. Starting pay is $28.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, with additional hourly pay for seasonal and part-time drivers. Seasonal drivers may receive a $1,000 end-of-season bonus and a $1,000 return-to-work bonus, subject to hours worked and eligibility for returning each season.

Requirements

• Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements, or the ability to obtain them quickly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good driving record.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
• Must not now or in the future require sponsorship for an employment visa.

• Previous truck driving experience is preferred.
