About The Position

This role involves transporting oversized loads to and from specified destinations, ensuring loads conform to shipping requirements, and assisting with loading and unloading. The Truck Driver will also be responsible for performing operational, maintenance, and safety checks on trucks and trailers, collecting delivery and receipt documents, and completing driving logs. Additional duties include general vehicle housekeeping, monthly expense report completion, operating deployment equipment, adhering to maintenance schedules for trucks and trailers, ordering necessary permits and escorts, and complying with all company, HSE, and Quality policies and procedures. Crane operating is also a responsibility.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Experience with oversized load transport
• Ability to perform operation, maintenance, and safety checks on trucks and trailers
• Knowledge of driving logbook completion
• Ability to maintain truck and trailer maintenance schedules and records
• Familiarity with ordering permits and escorts
• Compliance with company, HSE, and Quality policies
• Crane operating skills

Responsibilities

• Transport oversized loads to and from specific destinations
• Verify truck load to ensure conformance with shipping requirements
• Help load, unload and move products and materials
• Perform operation, maintenance and safety checks on trucks and trailers
• Collect documents for goods received and delivered
• Complete driving logbooks, when not operating an ELD mandated unit
• General housekeeping of vehicle
• Complete expense reports monthly at a minimum to ensure that funds are available on company credit card for future use
• Operate deployment equipment for field jobs
• Keep up with maintenance schedules on their truck
• Keeping up with maintenance and records for all trailers
• Ordering permits and escorts as required to destinations
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
• Crane operating
