About The Position

The CDL Driver safely delivers products, moves material, and provides outstanding service to customers. The role includes driving intrastate and/or interstate, hauling material from a rail spur to a silo, and transporting material between the Ohio and Indiana locations. The driver may also assist the shipping and receiving department by pulling product and loading trucks. Workdays may range from 8 to 10 hours, and the position may require overtime and weekend work as needed. Requirements

• Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Current Class A CDL.
• Current medical card.
• Tanker endorsement.
• Ability to work in all weather environments.
• Clean driving record for the last two years.
• At least 22 years of age, in accordance with Section 391.11(b)(1) of FMCR.
• Dependable attendance and willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours, including overtime and weekends as necessary.
• Ability to manage job-related stress and foster productive workplace interactions.
• Ability to work well under pressure and deal tactfully with others.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products, move material, and provide outstanding service to customers.
• Drive intrastate and/or interstate.
• Assist the shipping and receiving department at times by pulling product and loading trucks.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers, including checking tire pressures.
• Haul material from the rail spur to the silo.
• Transport material from the Ohio location to the Indiana location.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
