FT Truck Driver- Thrift Operations
About The Position
Miracle Hill Ministries is South Carolina's largest and most comprehensive provider of homeless services. At our core, we exist to serve people experiencing homelessness-physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We share the Good News of Jesus with them as they move toward independence, stability, and healthy relationships. This position drives a truck over an assigned route to deliver stock to thrift stores, completes donor pickups, and services donation centers. The role also involves supervising and assisting with loading and unloading the truck, completing necessary logs and work orders, performing routine maintenance checks and cleaning the truck, planning daily routes for maximum efficiency, and projecting ministry values to clients, donors, and employees. The driver operates the truck in accordance with all laws and rules of safe operation and vehicle performance. Additionally, there is an expectation to share the good news of Jesus Christ, give a personal testimony, and pray with/for those served by the ministry. The position may involve other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience
- Valid SC Driver's License is required
- MVR record must meet MHM insurance criteria
- DOT physical required
- Ability to pass a road test
- Must read and agree with Miracle Hill's Doctrinal Statement and Employment Qualifications

- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervises and assists loading and unloading truck
- Completes and submits Truck Mileage Daily log, Driver Daily Checklist and work orders
- Performs routine maintenance checks and cleans truck
- Plans daily route for maximum efficiency
- Projects ministry values and philosophy to clients, donors and ministry employees
- Operates truck in accordance with all laws and rules of safe operation and vehicle performance
- Has a willingness to share the good news of Jesus Christ, give a personal testimony and pray with/for those served by the ministry
- Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor
