Responsible for safely and efficiently operating and driving trucks/vehicles to support operations at the project site. Requirements

• Ability to operate and drive a vehicle/truck.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions accurately.
• Ability to work on different types of terrain.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in the construction field.
• Maintain a clear motor vehicle record (MVR) according to DOT and company standards.
• Maintain a proper license and/or CDL that is in good standing: Class A license, Class B license, DOT license.

Nice To Haves

• Tanker endorsements a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicles and/or equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
• Loads and unloads truck to and from job site, may involve heavy lifting.
• Inspects site to ensure safe environment to load and unload.
• Compliant with site policies and safety procedures.
• Reports any accidents and/or injuries immediately.
• Performs all required DOT inspections and complies with other regulatory DOT requirements by adhering to state and federal laws and regulations.
• Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action.
• Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
