About The Position

Penske Logistics is hiring full-time CDL Class B delivery truck drivers for a dedicated route with daily home time. Drivers perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships, unloading the trailer and scanning products at delivery. The route has seven stops and one transfer. Drivers operate late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with inward- and outward-facing in-cab cameras.

The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, with a 12:30 a.m. start time. Average annual earnings are $64,220, with additional performance incentives of up to $10,400 annually. Penske describes opportunities for training and career growth within its nationwide organization.

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL.
• Airbrake endorsement.
• Currently hold or be able to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• At least 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience within the last 5 years.
• Three-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency as required by federal law.
• Ability to work the required schedule and at the specified location, complete the Penske employment application, and pass a background investigation and drug screening.
• Ability to remain alert and work safely in a DOT-regulated or safety-sensitive role.
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter and exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
• Ability to meet the stated vision, hearing, mobility, and lifting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Make multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships.
• Unload the trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages.
• Scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.
• Complete seven stops and one transfer per route.
• Follow applicable laws, regulations, agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance and work safely, accepting responsibility for personal and others’ safety.
