About The Position
Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons, to transport materials to and from specified destinations, by performing the following duties. This role operates on the 2nd shift from 4 PM to 02:30 AM, Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above duties.
- Excellent attendance.
- Active Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Responsibilities
- Transports and spots trailers for shipping and receiving.
- Checks vehicle lights, signals, etc. to ensure proper operation.
- Maintains loaded and empty trailers in designated locations.
- Ensures all heavy loaded trailers are parked on appropriate surfaces.
- Opens trailer doors on all LZB trailers.
- Performs CTPAT functions when required.
- Organizes trailer yard and performs regular inventories.
- Follows health and safety standards.
- Maintains a clean work area.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
