Truck Driver-Vacuum (Ventura)
About The Position
This position assists in the safe operation of a vacuum truck under direct supervision. The role involves learning and following company policies, traffic laws, and basic safety procedures. Responsibilities include helping with the collection of fluids and sludges, supporting proper loading and securing of materials, performing basic inspections with guidance, and communicating with the crew and supervisors. The driver will also observe and follow environmental, health, and safety policies, maintain equipment cleanliness, complete driver logs, and assist with job documentation, all while complying with the company's safety and environmental policies, practices, and programs. Other job-related duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A with tanker endorsement required.
- One year’s minimum commercial driving experience and/or experience in an oilfield services environment or with/around heavy industrial machinery in the manufacturing, fabrication, transportation, construction, railroad, mining, shipyard, or agricultural equipment industries.
- Willingness to undergo training and mentorship.
- Basic understanding of commercial driving safety.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in all weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Basic vehicle inspection knowledge.
- Ability to adapt to changing job conditions and tasks.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with vacuum truck equipment or industrial machinery.
- Knowledge of basic mechanical systems.
- Interest in long-term career growth in oilfield services.
- Experience working in an outdoor, labor-intensive setting.
- Exhibits flexibility in working long hours, weekends, and holidays as required to meet job demands.
Responsibilities

- Complies with all the Company's Safety and Environmental policies, practices, and programs.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
