About The Position

Arcwood Environmental is looking for a reliable, safety-focused OTR Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating vans, roll-off trucks, and tankers for pickups and deliveries, completing assigned routes, and transporting customer materials to disposal facilities. The driver will be responsible for inspecting the vehicle and equipment, completing necessary documentation for DOT compliance, and acting as a Company representative with courtesy towards every customer. Support for additional duties as needed is also expected.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Class A CDL
Hazmat endorsement required
Tanker endorsement required
Minimum 3 years of CDL driving experience
Ability to work safely, stay alert, and perform some manual labor (climbing tankers, pulling hoses, etc.)
High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
3+ years of Class A CDL driving experience (required)
Hazmat and Tanker endorsement (required)

Nice To Haves

Manual transmission experience preferred

Responsibilities

Safely operate vans, roll-off trucks, and tankers (depending on training) for pickups and deliveries
Completes assigned routes as designated by Transport dispatchers with loads consisting of customer materials to be transported to a disposal facility
Prior to driving transportation equipment, prepares for daily trip by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent operating order
Completes manifests, Company documents, and other marking and placarding documents for every load managed
Maintains logbook for DOT compliance and State and Federal regulations
Drives to the customer site to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste material to facility for unloading and disposal
Acts as Company representative with courtesy towards every customer
Support the team with additional duties as needed
