About The Position

Walmart is seeking regional truck drivers who can earn up to $110,000 in their first year, with weekly home time and consecutive days off. The role involves planning and prioritizing tasks, working with a team to ensure safe and on-time freight movement, and communicating effectively to solve problems and adapt to changes. Drivers are responsible for accurately handling paperwork and electronic logs, adhering to all DOT, state, and company guidelines, and safely operating and inspecting their tractor-trailer. The position requires running optimized routes to reduce delays and improve delivery performance, while upholding Walmart’s high standards of safety, integrity, and professionalism. Requirements

Interstate (Class A) Commercial Driver’s License with Hazmat endorsement (including cleared background check) or will obtain HAZMAT endorsement (with cleared background check) within 120 calendar days of date of hire.
Minimum of 30 months (2.5 years) experience working in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the previous 3 years (36 months) or successful completion of the Walmart Fleet Development Academy Program.
No more than two (2) moving violations while operating a personal and/or commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
No serious traffic violations while operating a personal and/or commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
No preventable accidents while operating a personal and/or commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
No preventable DOT recordable accidents (collisions resulting in disabling damage and/or immediate medical treatment away from the scene) while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last ten (10) years.
No preventable accident resulting in a fatality or catastrophic injury in driving history in personal or commercial motor vehicle.
Must currently live within 250 miles of the assigned facility or willing to establish a residence within 250 miles by 90 days from hire date.

Handle all required paperwork and electronic logs accurately and follow all DOT, state, and company guidelines.
Safely operate your tractor-trailer, inspecting it before, during, and after each trip to keep it in top shape.
Run optimized routes by following traffic laws and local restrictions—reducing delays and improving on-time delivery performance.
