About The Position

Penske Logistics is seeking full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers for immediate opportunities. Drivers will be responsible for hauling piping material using a flatbed trailer, averaging 4 to 8 stops per week. The role involves operating late model Penske Truck Leasing trucks, equipped with best-in-class specs for comfort and safety, including inward and outward facing in-cab cameras. Drivers are expected to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers. The schedule involves Sunday dispatch with a 34-hour reset each week, requiring 3 to 4 layovers. Penske emphasizes safety, customer service, and building relationships, noting that drivers represent both Penske and their clients, often driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms. The company offers extensive training opportunities, nationwide locations for potential relocation, and is known for its stable environment, excellent equipment, management, communication, and safety record. Pay is weekly.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL required
  • Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
  • English language proficiency (compliant with 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
  • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
  • Complete Penske employment application
  • Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history)
  • Submit to drug screening required
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
