Truck Driver/Mover (Evening Shift)
About The Position
AirSea Packing Group is an established and successful shipping, storage, and logistics company seeking a full-time delivery professional to join their team. The ideal candidates will be dependable, motivated, and committed to representing the company's quality standards. The company is dedicated to serving clients and building strong, long-lasting relationships, going above and beyond on the client's behalf. This position is for the 1 pm to 10 pm shift, with a $2.00 shift differential pay for hours worked after 8 pm. Delivery days are Monday through Friday, with overtime opportunities available.
Requirements
- Class D and straight truck driving experience mandatory
- Pass a pre-employment MVR
- Resume and truck driving experience required
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of Class D and straight truck driving experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Properly load items onto the delivery truck.
- Safely control the functioning of a large box truck (through neighborhoods, downtown, businesses and residences, etc.).
- Unload and set up furniture/personal property in clients' homes/businesses etc.
- Provide outstanding, avid customer service and have amazing communication skills.
- Keep a clean and safe truck.
- Have the ability to lift frequently and safely (team lift)-moving unique pieces of design furniture in/out of our warehouse, homes, stores, and corporate offices.
- Be computer savvy- required to operate a tablet/scanner/smartphone.
- Be neat, clean, and well-groomed.
