About The Position

This role involves local delivery of products to customer sites, ensuring safe and efficient operations. The driver will be responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering products within designated timeframes, adhering to all traffic and transportation laws. The position also includes performing pre- and post-vehicle checks, maintaining logs and reports for DOT and company compliance, and operating a forklift safely for product transfer. Additionally, warehouse duties, acting as backup for warehouse or front counter staff, and following safety and housekeeping practices are expected. The driver must immediately report any accidents, damage, or violations to management.

Requirements

Legally authorized for employment in the United States.
Will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
Strong knowledge of driving/traffic and transportation laws, regulations.
Ensure continuous compliance while operating the truck(s).

Responsibilities

Load, unload, and deliver product to customer sites within designated time frames safely using the most efficient routes.
Maintain required logs and reports for DOT and Company compliance regarding safety standards and operation of delivery vehicles and forklifts.
Safely load and properly block, brace, and secure the cargo.
Operate forklift safely and efficiently to transfer, load, and unload product, ensuring accurate product and quantity.
Perform pre-check and post-check operations of Company vehicles and forklifts.
Perform warehouse duties, ensuring accurate product and quantity for customers.
Notify the manager immediately of any accidents, damage, violations, and areas of concern.
Follow good housekeeping and safety practices at all times.
Act as the warehouse and/or front counter back up as needed.
Perform additional duties as needed.
