Truck Driver - Local Class B - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class B Delivery Truck Drivers Earn $25.73 per hour with overtime after 40 hours. Local, home daily. Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral. You will drive Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety. Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all. What you will do: Deliver seafood to local restaurants, country clubs and final mile locations. Home daily. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5am dispatch. Saturday overtime available.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL
- Airbrake endorsement required
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- Must be able to see and hear
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
- Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area

- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
- Complete Penske employment application
- Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
- Accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
