About The Position

Penske Logistics is seeking full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers for immediate opportunities. This role involves making dock-to-dock deliveries of palletized grocery products using late-model Penske trucks, which are equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras for safety. Drivers are expected to deliver products safely and on time, while also providing excellent customer service and building relationships with clients. Requirements

Valid Class A CDL required
Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
English language proficiency (in order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)))

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
Ability to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit
Frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area

Responsibilities

Make dock-to-dock deliveries of palletized grocery products
Deliver products safely and on time
Represent Penske and its clients, potentially driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms
Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Work the required schedule and at the specific location required
Accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
